The VALTO360° visual environment is a natural and flexible learning platform for organizing different types of training. Virtual training with the help of a digital twin anchors learning materials to views and objects that are a copy of the real world. The trainings can be attended anywhere and at any time. This reduces the need for physical movement from one place to another, which saves time and frees up HR staff resources.

VALTO Training is part of the VALTO360° product package that supports operational activities. The material added to the digital twin is available almost as is as training material.

The trainings can be roughly divided into three different types of activities, basic training that takes place in an educational institution environment, orientation in working life and learning new things, and safety training and -ensembles.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Several educational institutions use the Moodle online learning environment. The VALTO Education add-on consists of Moodle integration and the optional Articulate task section, which allow the digital twin to be used, for example, in simulation exercises and orientation alongside other subjects.

WORKING LIFE

Orienting new employees, as well as, for example, getting to know the new practices of the workplace, is effortless and rewarding to do in a visual 360° environment. The Articulate task section guides learning and helps bring out the essential details. After the training, the participants have a clear image of the premises and the infrastructure there. In the future, the employee will also be well equipped to quickly acquire the information he needs, for example on safety practices, equipment locations and operating instructions. The digital twin can also be used to simulate various situations that employees must prepare for and react to.

BETTER JOB SECURITY THROUGH TRAINING

One of the most significant training targets is safety and HSEQ functions in general. Virtual training makes it easy to form an overall picture of safety practices and environment, as well as items that require special attention. Safety-related POIs can be marked on a virtual copy of the operating environment: danger areas, equipment safety instructions, warnings, rescue routes, first aid points, occupational safety precautions, etc. The presented material can also contain pictures or videos that illustrate safety risks and correct procedures.

MOODLE

VALTO Moodle integration is an interactive educational window into the 360° world, through which you can visualize the educational environment in the real world and show the material located there. For example, in industry, VALTO brings visuals to port trainings and orientations.

ARTICULATE

The tools offered by Articulate are used when creating course content. With the help of tools, the content can be easily modified into a format that supports learning. Visual and interactive parts help the learner to internalize the subject. In addition, the functionalities offered by the learning management system (LMS), such as progress monitoring, provide the trainer with additional information about the learning results.
